UNC alumnus Rye Barcott, co-founder of Carolina for Kibera, will celebrate the launch of his new book, 'It Happened On the Way to War," with a reading and party at McIntyre's Books in Fearrington Village Monday at 7 p.m. The book chronicles his work as a Marine and with Carolina for Kibera, which aids inhabitants of the Kibera slum outside Nairobi, Kenya.
