How would someone recover from a sex addiction?

I have realized that I definitely have a problem with sex. A sex addiction. Starting today, I'm going celibate. I need to take the right steps to prevent a relapse & get my mind straight emotionally. I am dating someone & I want them to like me for ME, not for sex. I have talked with him about the situation & he's willing to help me out.

I know a lot of people might not understand, but those who do, please give me some tips. Thanks :)

masturbation? seriously...whenever you get the urge just help yourself. but good job for going celibate! im 16 and dont think i could do that. Lol good luck!!!
